DT Reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard

Can I just say, I am beyond excited to be apart
of the 2013 2Crafty Design Team.
What an UNBELIEVABLE opportunity
to represent such an AMAZING company and
 AMAZING product.

I utilized one of the Wrought Iron Photo Adornment
chippies and dabbed Black Embossing Paste
on for texture.

How much fun are the 1.5" Hexagons,
embellied with Cream ~ Modeling Cream,
through a Mini Hexagon Template
then added Gold and Burgundy
Precious Metal Effect Paint.
And how cute are the Folk Hearts???

I chose to cut apart the ohhhh sooo cute
"Enjoy this moment, This moment is your Life"
For my second project, I created a Chunky ATC.

To begin this project your cut up a 2" x 4"
into a 5" piece. Paint "Chunky ATC" with Gesso.
I cut up a piece of Chicken Wire Chipboard,
painted it and adhered it, randomly, around the "ATC".

I backed the Juliet's Hearts with a piece of paper
and painted it with Precious Metal Effect Paint.
So, the Juliet's Heart would pop!

Can I just say I can't get enough of the 1.5" Hexagons!!

So...what do you think of my "Chunky ATC"???

For my last project I created a card.

Spring has finally sprung here in Northern NH.
Now is the time for Flowers and Birdhouses.
And the ATC Birdhouse chippies were PERFECT!!

The little birdies are just the cutest.

There are layers and layers of texture, a little bit of Crackle,
and layers of paint on the Larinda's Flourish!!

What creation of mine would be complete without
a "flower cluster".
I hope you enjoyed my creations!

THANK YOU ATC'S

I LOVE creating ATC's...
just to see how much
CREATIVE goodness I can fit
on a 2.5" x 3.5" space.
I decided to try an experiement....
I took one of each of the
Splash of Color ATC's
Corrugated Kraft, White and Black
along with the Birch ATC.

I lined them up and created each one exactly the same....
I pulled out my basket of Silks ~ Acrylic Glaze.
Now....this product is a bit transparent in nature
so I wanted to see how it would respond
on each of the different colored backgrounds.
Here is the White Corrugated ATC...
and yes those are mini puzzle pieces...
adhered with Black Gesso
and colored with Viva Colour Inka Gold ~ Orange.
See that amazing sparkle from the
Viva Colour German Glitter ~ Gold.

The easiest to tell was the Birch...
I just love how the Sikl Acrylic Glaze
flowed with the wood grain.

Here is the Black Corrugated ATC.
hint hint....I dabbed on a pile of
Viva Colour Modeling Cream ~ Champagne
and used it as an adhesive to hold down the mesh.

Last but not least,
the Kraft Corrugated ATC.

I will be adhering these little darlings
to the face of a few cards...
and sending them out as THANK YOU's to
my friends!!

SMILE Canvas with Petaloo and Simple Stories

For those of you who may have missed my post
on the Petaloo blog yesterday......Here it is!!

When I opened my Design Team box that contained the
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
Petaloo ~ Penny Lane Flowers and
Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories,
it just about killed me
to have to wait to work with
these BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTS!!
But once I had a moment....
I pulled out all the goodness
and let the creative process flow.

LynneForsythe.blogspot.com

and can I just tell you....I had the time of my life!!

To add a cohesiveness to all the
different Petaloo flowers that were used,
I added some Precious Metal Effect Paint to the
edges of the flowers.

The basis for the canvas was the piece of
patterened paper that I just fell in love with.
Grey Wood ~ Vintage Bliss.
Using several Crafter's Workshop Stencils,
I applied layers of Gesso
and Wendy Vecchi's Embossing Paste.

Don't you just love the "SMILE"?
It was cut from one of the Simple Stories
papers and outlined with
a Pitt Big Brush Pen
which adds lots of depth!

I created a video tutorial of the above
Technique Tag for you to
further see how I created the canvas.
I hope you enjoy it!!

Happpy Happppy Birthday!!

There is a Week Long
Design Team~Up going on......

This is what I created....

My neice's birthday is right around the corner.
Can I just say....If I don't show up
with some type of "creation" to make
it will NOT BE A GOOD DAY!!
With that in mind I created an invitation
to her party!!

I used the combo of Bella Blvd's
Birthday Girl and
Spring Flings and Easter things.
Using the Cute Cuts paper
I cut out the 3 flowers.
I stacked them with the ohhh
so adorable
Yellow Embossed Daisies...
and accented with Pink Flowers buttons.
....and what little girl doesn't like a little bling!!
Thanks to a bit of German Glitter.

I used the recipe card
as the invitation
inserted into the
white glassine bags from SRM.
Now....to our Birthday Craft....
....what every Birthday girl needs a crown.

....and we will be making these!!!

We will make a BEAUTIFUL stacked flower
from the Bella Blvd paper
and Embossed Daisies
all held together with
a super fabby Embellishment Brad!!
The last time I spent time with her
....she made me a card that said
"ART is A flower"
(just like Aunt like Niece!)
